🧭 How Our Meetings Work
Cub Scout Pack 122 runs two types of meetings: Den Meetings and Pack Meetings. Both are important parts of the Cub Scout experience!
🟡 Den Meetings
Den meetings are the heart of the Cub Scouting program. This is where scouts meet in small groups by grade level to work on adventures, build skills, and have fun together.
What Happens at Den Meetings?
Scouts work on activities aligned with their rank
They complete adventures from their Cub Scout handbook (required & elective)
Meetings include games, hands-on projects, and teamwork activities
Each scout works toward earning their next rank by the end of the year
Each den is led by a Den Leader, typically a parent from the group.
The Den Leader:
Selects and organizes activities from the Cub Scout handbook
Coordinates with parents for help during meetings
Ensures that all advancement work is completed before the May Advancement Ceremony
Dens usually meet 3 times per month at the Pack 122 Scout Hut, located at American Legion Post 120.
🔷 Pack Meetings
Pack meetings bring the entire Pack together—scouts from all grades (K–5)—for a fun, high-energy evening of recognition and celebration.
Group games and fun activities for all ages
Recognition and awards for achievements earned in Den meetings
Announcements, skits, and family participation
A great time to celebrate your scout’s progress!
Pack meetings are led by the Cubmaster and are open to all families.
